A home kept clean and tidy does not bring in any disease or infection to the residents and in a way prevent you from loss or damage. Tyr to bring in more sunlight and ventilate the home as much as possible and also wash carpets, curtains and sofa on a regular basis to prevent germs and insects. Cover food which prevents your family sickness, dispose waste properly and if there any food bits in sink clean it up. Avoid throwing eatables around the bedroom and keep medicines, electronic gadgets and sharp harmful items out of reach of children. Unplug them if not in use and try to keep the bathroom floor dry.
Keep glass items away from children, avoid plastic items near operating oven and keep stools away from children. Lock your gas stove and shelves of your drawer when not in use. Install and check the working condition of fire and carbon monoxide alarms and fix fire extinguishers if it is not available at your home. Keep away all flammable items from children and never overload extension boards and outlets as there is an occurrence of fire. In case of a faulty equipment never use and inform your family members also and if there any assistance needed call for a licensed electrician. Ensure adequate lighting around all rooms, place emergency phone numbers besides the phone and it is a necessity of having a first aid kit at home.
