International Building Code 2009
Dear Friends! Every year, a variety of codes are released by International Code Council influencing different industries. Construction is not an exception for it. It is very useful for those whoever wants to adhere to international standards as this council consists of international association of professionals of the same field. Today, great number of federal agencies are adopting International Building Code for Architect of Capital, General service administration, National Park Services, Forest Services and Veterans Administration. International Building Code 2009 is being adopted by more than 50 states and recently International Building Code 2012 has been released.
It is a must for all renovations and new constructions to meet or exceed the adopted codes. Some of the standards are recommended and some of them require strict adherence. Other requirements like ADA building regulations are also met by meeting the International Building code. International Code Council in addition to revising, discussing and publishing the codes also provides International Building Code certification. We can gain access to updated information on construction and building codes as part of membership program. Both online training program and classroom training programs are available today. Certified professional can construct building with current regulations, hence such certification is a great marketing tool.
