It is a must for all renovations and new constructions to meet or exceed the adopted codes. Some of the standards are recommended and some of them require strict adherence. Other requirements like ADA building regulations are also met by meeting the International Building code. International Code Council in addition to revising, discussing and publishing the codes also provides International Building Code certification.
